Surgery Update

On Thursday, I had my long anticipated knee surgery. They went in with the scope to repair the cartilage and see what kind of damage the ACL had. It was just a day surgery, but they did give me a full anesthetic. Thankfully, all went as planned AND I didn't have an ounce of nausea (PTL). I have taken next week off work, since I do a lot of walking/standing. I have been healing well and am already putting full weight on that knee for short distances. I have also lined up Leah and Julia to do all the horse chores, which they have done really well with. On Tuesday, I go to see the ortho surgeon to get a report on when he will be doing the ACL reconstruction surgery.
