Father's Day
I think I have the most wonderful husband ever. For a guy who doesn't really like horses, he was quite a trooper this past weekend. Above is a picture of him on Father's day (sorting through the assorted chocolates Hannah gave him). He woke up at 5am to take Leah to Caledon for an eventing competition. When she signed up for it, we did not realize this was also Father's day. Jim was good with it, though, and enjoyed the day being around MANY horses and horsey people :) After we got home, we took Earle out for supper. Jim also graciously helped us put up hundreds of bales of hay and take Shiloh to a horse auction on Saturday. This weeked just highlighted his wonderful father's heart! Happy Father's day, honey
High School Graduate
Andrew finished his last day of high school on Monday. He is quite happy to be done and may have been singing, "No more pencils, no more books, . . . ." that evening. He will be working full time for the co-op roofing company for the summer to save up some $$ for SLI in the fall. He has chosen not to go to his graduation (not all that uncommon here. . .not sure why) so there will be no pictures of him in a gown. We are very proud of him and know he has a wonderful future ahead. Great job, Andrew!

BCPC at Horseback Adventures
On the weekend, our Pony Club was invited to join other area clubs for a trail ride at Horseback Adventures in Waterloo. If you brought your own horse, you got to go for free (we like free-especially when it involves horses because NOT MUCH is free with horses). The parents were also allowed to go. The day was gorgeous (thank you, Lord) and we had a great time. We got to use our trailer for the first time to haul 3 horses. Leah decided to bring Shiloh because he had not been off the farm since she bought him a year ago. He did very well for his first trip.
