Father and Son Getaway

On Friday, Jim and Daniel left for their Father/Son getaway. They decided to leave the car at home and take the train. Their destination was Toronto, ON. While they were there, they went through the Passport to Purity program, ate at the 360 restaurant in the CN Tower, and went to the Toronto Car Show. Here is a photo of Jim trying the EcoDriving simulator.

Happy Golden Birthday, Andrew

18 years ago, an amazing boy was born. We celebrated his golden birthday today. Since Andrew was going to be gone all weekend, we decided to do a birthday breakfast which included BBQ pork chops and chocolate birthday cake. I don't think anyone went to school hungry! (Maybe a little of a sugar high, but not hungry) Love you, Andrew, and hope you enjoy your first day of adulthood.

Winter Fun

Daniel getting set to sled down Mt. Baxterbarn. This hill appears to be almost as high as the hydro wires.

Daniel made a quarter pipe for his sledding fun on the side of the barn. Not sure Grandma knows about that yet :)

Goodbye Canada, Bonjour France

On Monday, we took Hannah to the airport so she could start on her journey to France. She will be there until May. She arrived safely on Tuesday, but did not sleep at all during the flight. Since France is 6 hours ahead of us, she basically missed the night. She was very tired the first few days over there. We have talked to her on Skype and she was able to show us a video (not the best footage since her laptop is the camera) of some of Pascaline's house. She really likes the way her family has decorated her room. She started school over there on Thursday and it sounds way different than EDSS! We are very happy that Hannah has taken this opportunity to live in France with such maturity and committment.
