It's Time For Kittens Again
These are our three cute new kittens and their mother. The kittens were born up in the hayloft and were just recently moved (or fell as a result of curiosity) down to the main floor. We have started giving them little bits of soft food and have tried hard food but one of the kittens choked on it. The two black ones are named Cocoa and Sammy (their the ones that get the most attention just to figure out which one is which) they are exactly alike! The orange and white one is named Prince after Garfield's identical twin in 'Garfield, The Tale Of Two Kitties.' Their mother, Dot, was just recently tamed last fall and she's very good about us being around her kittens.
Perfect biking days
This is what our kids and Dad did this afternoon after church. Julia rides her "50cc" over the "whoops." (That is 25cc on each leg!) Jim is taking a turn over the big jump and seems to have bottomed out with the sag in the middle (And where is the helmet?) The bottom picture is the big jump from a dirtbiker's perspective and if you notice, the horses and ponies seem pretty casual with all this activity and noise. Hopefully, the neighbors are too!

Happy bikers
Here are some more pictures of Leah and Daniel riding the dirt bikes. They like to ride after school and have made a track in the horse pasture. This track is currently under construction (like many roads in the summer!) so we can build a double jump and some whoop-di-doos. (For those of you who don't know dirt-biking, whoop-di-doos are several small jumps in a row) The last picture is of Jim's new bike he bought this winter.

Kittens, kittens, kittens
This time of year always means "kittens" for our kids. We have some barn cats that have kittens twice every summer. So far, we have been able to find homes for all of them and the kids take care of them until they leave. They have so much fun with them. The picture of the cat looking in the toilet is of Hannah's cat, Cinderella. She lives at Grandma Baxter's house and loves to watch the toilet flush. She visits our house sometimes, but she doesn't get along with the dog too well. This spring the one barn cat had 3 kittens, so you will probably see pictures of those sometime this summer.

The exchange
Some couples exchange wedding rings when they marry, we exchange glasses. What do you think? Do they suit us? The '80s meet the new millennium. True love always!
Crazy Canucks
Who needs TV with these guys! These four are trying to fill some long summer days and love to get the camera out. Especially when I am not supervising. I am still counting the kitten pictures Hannah has been taking since '02 or so.
Dirtbikers
riding Doc
Here are some pictures from about 1 year ago when we bought Doc. We still really like him and he has worked our really well. Praise the Lord, because a lot of prayer went into which horse to buy. I am really having fun posting pictures and this is a great way to share some of our older photos, too. The kids will probably be posting some soon.

At the beach
These are some pictures of our time at the beach. The pool was big and the boys liked the water better; not salt! We celebrated Hannah's 13th birthday at the beach and decided to give her 13 gifts (mostly small items) from a grab bag every hour during the day. (this is causing a problem because now all the kids want us to do this for them on their birthdays--I turn 37 in a few weeks, do I get 37 gifts??) She said this was one of the best things about the whole trip. The sand toys and swim tubes we bought in Florida and did manage to get the both home again.
